Hi, hello, hola, g’day. How are you? Thanks for being here, reading this, our first EVER blog!!

We are Little Herberts and this is our little world of haircare JUST for kids. A world in which our focus is about making YOUR lives just a tad easier. 

We get it. We’re parents and we know the daily struggles, stresses and strains of raising little humans and we’re making it our mission to bring you some peace and tranquility - whether that’s 20 minutes of calm while they get a cool hairstyle in our Perth based salon, or knowing that you’re choosing hair products you can trust, with no nasty chemicals, that won’t hurt a hair on their head. We're also making it our mission to help you wage a war on those tangles and knots with our amazing detangling hairbrushes. We’re here for you, we're here for the long haul, so buckle in we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.

We’ve come a long way over the last 4 years to this point. 

What started out as a small idea born out of necessity in trying to find a solution for my anxious, haircut hating toddler back in 2017, slowly began to take shape over a two year period while raising two young boys, working full time and supporting my husband who went back to University.

Late nights and burning the candle at both ends with hours upon hours of research and planning; finding the right space, in the right location at the right price and then a huge renovation to bring the idea to life - resulted in me and my team creating a space that is inviting, cool, contemporary and a happy place for everyone. Finally we opened our bricks and mortar doors in February 2019 - YAY! 

Fast forward to 2021, having survived three lockdowns of COVID 19 we’re now just about ready to embark upon the next chapter of our journey - entering the world of e-commerce - eek! We’re full of emotions about this new direction, it’ll be another learning curve, but that’s what life is all about right? We’re determined to be the best that we can be, and we’ll always be looking for ways to get better, striving for excellence, sourcing, creating and producing the best products on the market, all with one aim, to give you the best there is. It's a journey I’m determined to master - I'm excited and extremely nervous about this adventure, but very happy to be navigating this path.

The plan is to bring to you our Little Herberts vibe. If you’ve been to our store you’ll know how we do things, how we go that extra mile, making the experience we offer you and your kids just that little bit special and we fully intend to do the same for you, our online community.

We’re here to make your lives as easy as possible, I get it, time is precious. So with our online store we’ve done the hard work for you, stocking products that we know you’ll love. Products that work. Products that do what they claim and products we’re happy and proud to use in store and at home - all sourced, designed and produced with care, attention to detail and with your best interests at heart. At the same time, we’re also proud to support other small Australian businesses and only source products and ingredients that are kind to your little herberts’ heads.
